Fuel the ground game.

Local campaigns run on small contributions from neighbours — signs, flyers, and a lot of shoe leather. Here's how to contribute.

How to contribute

By e-transfer
[Campaign account e-transfer email to confirm.]
By cheque
Payable to [exact registered campaign name to confirm], mailed or delivered to [campaign address to confirm].

Please include your full name and home address with any contribution — campaign finance rules require it for receipts.

Know the rules

Contributions to municipal campaigns in Ontario are governed by the Municipal Elections Act:

  • Only individuals normally resident in Ontario may contribute. Corporations and unions may not.
  • Contributions are accepted only during the official campaign period.
  • There is a legal limit on how much one person may give to a single candidate. [Confirm current limit with the Town Clerk — historically $1,200 for council candidates; verify before publish.]
  • Every contribution is receipted; contributions above the legislated threshold are publicly disclosed in the campaign's financial filing.

Questions about eligibility? Contact the campaign at hello@davidparmer.ca [confirm email] before donating.

Note for Hiral · pre-launch

Have David verify this page with the Whitchurch-Stouffville Town Clerk's election office before launch. This is informational copy, not legal advice.

Can't donate? A lawn sign or an afternoon of door-knocking is worth just as much.
